Celebrating 50 Years of Women in Media
The 50th Annual Gracie Awards will honor big names in music, TV, and media. Some winners include Megan Thee Stallion, The Voice, The Daily Show, and Variety Power of Women. Comedian and actress Fortune Feimster will host the event on May 20 at the Beverly Wilshire in Beverly Hills, California.
The Gracie Awards are given by the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation (AWMF). These awards honor women in media, including storytelling, journalism, and entertainment. They celebrate those who support diversity, fairness, and truth in media.
Megan Thee Stallion’s Documentary Wins Big
Megan Thee Stallion’s documentary, Megan Thee Stallion: In Her Words, was released on Prime Video on Halloween 2024. It shares her personal story, struggles, and success. The documentary is one of this year’s top winners.
